420GSM | Dual Side Terry | 40x40cm | 70/30 | Edgeless | 6pk & 24pk

The Aquatouch VERSO builds on the balance of the Aquatouch GENERAL with a design focused for versatility and feel, making it a highly functional microfibre cloth for real world detailing.

It still uses that same low-denier 70/30 yarn system with fully chemically split fibres, but VERSO features a dual-nap terry weave - one side short pile for extra bite and cleaning power, the other longer for plush, softness and absorbency.

This dual-sided construction is what really provides the true versatility, giving the VERSO it's name. The short pile microfiber side handles removal work (e.g. coatings), residue, and interior cleaning, while the high pile excels at final wipes, and gentle drying. At 420GSM, it feels substantial in hand but still moves freely across surfaces without dragging or saturation - whilst still providing enough bite to be functional, balancing the increased density of fibres.

Built for those who like flexibility without compromise, VERSO makes switching between cleaning and finishing effortless - a true versatile all-rounder, allowing you to pick which side fits your situation.

Using certain solvents with the Verso especially on glass can cause linting. If this is occurring, we recommend using the Aquatouch ACE.

CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Wash warm, avoid high heat.
Warm water (30–40°C) removes dirt and chemicals effectively without stressing the fibres. Avoid hot washes or hot drying cycles, as high heat can stiffen or damage microfibre.
  • Use liquid detergents only.
Powder detergents can leave residue behind. A gentle liquid detergent ensures the fibres stay clean and unclogged.
  • No fabric softeners or dryer sheets.
These coat the fibres and stop them from absorbing properly. They’re the quickest way to ruin microfibre performance.
  • Wash microfibres separately.
Keep them away from cotton or lint-heavy fabrics — microfibre grabs lint instantly, and once it’s in, it’s hard to remove.
  • Air dry or tumble dry low.
Microfibre responds best to low heat. Air drying keeps it soft, while low tumble is safe if you need a quicker turnaround.
  • Avoid bleach.
It breaks down the polyamide component and shortens the life of the towel.

Myths & Real Talk

Microfibre cloths over the years have been full of different buzzwords that never really tell the story. Things like Korean-made, 100 % split, or always having high GSM. True performance comes from how the yarn, denier, weave, and fibre split all work together to make functional microfiber. Something thats purpose built, and actually specifically designed for what you are wanting to use it for.

“Korean microfiber” isn’t a quality guarantee. Korea pioneered the material, but today’s best mills in China use the same-grade looms, extrusion, and finishing chemistry. What really matters is understanding this process and working with likeminded manufacturers that share their vision, regardless of where they reside.

“100 % split” doesn’t tell the full story. It only means every filament has been through the process, not how finely or evenly it was divided. Our microfibres are chemically split for consistency, we control the extent of the split to maintain structure and bite, ensuring we still get that cleaning power that overly soft cloths don’t have.

High GSM doesn’t equal better. All our general purpose cloths are weighted with purpose, a higher GSM doesn’t necessarily mean better. Our lighter cloths clean a lot faster, and the extra polyamide content helps them absorb more product than the average cloth at the same GSM.

Edgeless. All our cloths are not overlocked and are all ultrasonic cut, this ensures that the cloth doesn’t scratch on the edges on even the most delicate of surfaces.

Our 70/30s are different. Many 70/30 cloths focus so much on softness and absorbency that they lose their cleaning edge, smearing instead of wiping clean. We chose 70/30 by design, pairing a low-denier yarn with controlled splitting to keep absorbency while preserving the surface tension needed for true cleaning power. This allows us to use the best features from 70/30, but ensuring it remains functional & a well rounded cloth.
